Hope #1 Hope is the expectation of the unseen.
Hope is one of the most important things in all of us. Someone said A person can live for 40 days without food, 3 days without water, 5 minutes without air, before the brain dies. But if there is no hope We humans will never be able to live alive!
According to the dictionary, the definition of hope is Expectation is meant. However, hope is much deeper than that. “Hope is the expectation of the unseen.”
There is one writing from the Sahabah (apostle) of Isaan named Shaul (Saul, also known as Paul), which states of hope:
“Because we are saved by hope. But the hope seen was not hope at all. for who will hope for what he has seen? But we hope for things that are yet to be seen. And we look forward with patience.”
(Letter to the Romans, chapter 8, verses 24 to 25)
Sha'ul describes the hope of salvation which arises in the future with believers in the Prophet Isa on the Day of Resurrection as a hope for the unseen. which makes us patiently wait And he emphasized that it is impossible for us to hope for what we have already seen!
for example If someone tells you that they will invite you to travel abroad. Before you go… you have to “believe” and “hope” that you will go according to the instructions. Even if you haven't seen anything yet can't see the airport I didn't even see a plane ticket. But while you're hoping, you'll gradually be exposed to the fact that you're going abroad, such as when you see flight bookings, hotel reservations, etc.
So summed up Today we learned that hope is to expect the unseen. It is something that lies ahead in the future, has yet to come. Are we receiving revelations of what we hope will actually happen?
In the next episode, we will know that So how can we be confident in that hope? How to know that it is not a vain hope, but that hope will come true? Follow me
